This unit of work will focus primarily on databases and computational language. The main focus will be to develop an understanding of how to safely use a database whilst encouraging children to search for key information based on our topic for the term ‘The Peak District’. Children will be encouraged to search databases to create a tourist guide for a given location. They will present their work in a variety of ways using a range of software.
