This week we are reading and enjoying "Princess Mirror-Belle and the Dragon Pox".
So your first task is to use a mirror to have a good look at yourself and then draw a self- portrait.
Think about the marks you make.
What shape is your head?
Are your eyes at the top of your head? No? Where do they go on your face?
What shape is your nose? What are the two holes at the bottom?
When you have finished your portrait you could add some dragon pox spots if you wish.
Why don't you try drawing all the members of your family. Ask them to sit still!
At the end of the week we'll put all the photos of your work together for you all to see.
Princess Mirror-Belle created a bubbly mixture to try and cure her's and Ellen's dragon pox. Have a go at this experiment and make your own bubbling potion.
Whilst doing this experiment talk to you child about what they can see.
