We will do our best to keep the school office up to date with how the group are doing and the office will post the updates:
As the activity timetable is very busy and we have a lot of children on the trip it is not possible to give an update on individual children. If your child is ill or has a problem we will contact you, if you do not hear from us that means all is well!
Photos of the trip will be published on TEAMs within two weeks (after Monday 23rd September).
Update 10.25am Thursday 19th September
Good morning from Kingswood.
We have another busy day ahead today. Two groups are canoeing this morning with the others going this afternoon. The other group are currently climbing the high ropes then will move on to testing their trust on nightline.
All the children are doing well and making us all very proud. Everyone has had a go at all the activities and pushed themselves to try new things.
Update 9.45am Wednesday 18th September
Good morning from Kingswood on day three.
We had lots of tired children after a jam packed day yesterday. Lots of fears were conquered and the children all took part in all activities. They really showed off their competitive sides racing each other on quick zip. We also saw a shooting star and the international space station on our night walk.
This morning they are raft building at the lake. Then taking on Jacob’s ladder and low ropes.
Have a great day all.
Update 8.45am Tuesday 17th September
Morning all, the children had a good first night's sleep after a busy day yesterday. Lights were out for half ten. We still had a few sleepy heads this morning when we woke up for breakfast at 7. Some looked rather bemused by being woken by a teacher. Breakfast was demolished by all, so we’re fuelled for the day. Laser, aeroball and crate stack this morning. Then quick zip, problem solve or fencing this afternoon. We will update you further tomorrow morning with events for the next day.
Kingswood team.
Update 18.50 Monday 16th September
Good evening from Kingswood.
The children have settled in well after a picnic and play on route. They have all made up their beds for the night and settled themselves into their rooms.
This afternoons activities were problem solving or fencing, which they throughly enjoyed. All children have eaten well at dinner and just having some free time before mini olympics this evening. All happy and no tears. Will update more in the morning.
Kingswood team 😊
Update 14.20 Monday 16th September
Children have arrived safely at Kingswood and are currently on bed-making duty before they start their activities.
