English

For English sessions we have decided to work with the new book “The Ickabog.” This story is the new book by J.K. Rowling and she has released it online for children to read during lockdown. We will be putting together activities alongside reading the chapters at various times. The pattern (which children are familiar with) for each chapter will be:

-Predict what will happen in the chapter after reading the title.

-Read the chapter.

-Define any unknown words.

-Complete chapter specific task.

In addition to this, it would be good to continue to practise spellings using the Sumdog app or the list of words in the Home/School Diary. It is also good to continue reading other books that you have at home or online.
