Letter from Mrs Oldfield regarding potential reopening

10/05/2020

Just a quick note to clarify that school is still closed to all children.  The only exception to this is those who have been approved by Mrs Oldfield as children of key workers.  Please DO NOT bring your child to school unless you come under this category AND have booked a place on SIMS Pay, as you will be turned away.

Please note that the school has no more information at the current time and we would therefore ask that you don't contact us with questions about when we will be reopening.  We will send information as and when we have it.

Hopefully things will become clearer in the near future.

School is now closed for an indefinite period of time.  Government advice is for children to remain at home wherever possible.  We should be socially distancing ourselves to stop the spread of the Covid19 virus. We will be offering some critical workers’ children  and vulnerable children childcare if there are no other possible childcare arrangements available. This childcare must be prearranged with school so that we can organise staffing. If either of these categories apply to you, and alternative childcare arrangements cannot be made, please contact the school office (joldfield@arnoldmill.notts.sch.uk or 0115 9667930).

Work will be set and updates given via our class pages, for those children staying at home.  Also keep an eye on our Facebook page.
These are very strange times, but staff will be available to answer any questions you may have via email or phone. Please don’t visit the school site unless you really have to.

Take care!

Jackie Oldfield
Headteacher
