A big well done to Cameron Wagstaffe (Y5) who is a key player for Gedling Southbank White U10s. They were recently rewarded for their season long hard work by receiving their runenrs up trohpies. The players were presented with their award by Kenny Burns, a former Nottingham Forest and Scotland player.
A huge well done to Oliver Fisher (year 1) who competed in the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu National Championships over the past weekend, which was his first ever competition
Unfortunately for his first fight he was placed with a boy that is graded two belts above Oliver so was caught out with a choke hold; also he has only just moved into this age category by three weeks so was against older boys, with more experience.
Oliver did however really enjoy the experience today and is looking forward to competing in future competitions!
Eleanor Glover, a Year 4 pupil, is proudly displaying her IDTA Amatuer Award in Freestyle Dance. Eleanor achieved silver in her award and was highly commended.
